I was injured in a "hit and run" accident - do I have no one to sue?

In these cases, the claim is submitted to "Karnit" - a statutory body on behalf of the state which compensates the victims according to the same rules.

As we know, traffic accidents are a "scourge of the state" that can befall any of us - and out of a desire to give relief and compensation to everyone - the law stipulates that every victim is entitled to compensation - regardless of the question of his fault in the accident. This is one of the only "absolute liability" laws.

I was injured in a work accident - what should I do?

The reporting to the National Insurance is carried out using the reporting form Bel 250- Employed or Bel/283- Self-employed.

What is the amount of compensation for a work accident?

אדם שנפגע בתאונת עבודה זכאי לימי מחלה מביטוח לאומי (דמי פגיעה) כתוצאה מתאונת העבודה, בגין אובדן הכנסה. דמי הפגיעה משולמים עבור תקופה של עד 13 שבועות (91 ימים, נכון לשנת 2023).
במידה וכתוצאה מהתאונה נותרתם עם נכות תהיו זכאים בנוסף לדמי הפגיעה, לגמלת נכות מעבודה.

שיעור הפיצוי בגין דמי פגיעה (ימי מחלה): מחושבים בהתאם להכנסת המבוטח והם מהווים 75% מההכנסה של המבוטח.
מבוטח אשר נפגע בעבודתו ושלושת התלושים שקדמו לפגיעה הם 10,000 ₪ ברוטו בחודש בממוצע, יהיה זכאי לקבל 7,500 ₪. בהפחתת מס הכנסה וביטוח לאומי, סה”כ יקבל המבוטח 7,000 ₪ נטו.
גמלת נכות נכות מעבודה יכולה לזכות במענק חד פעמי או בקצבה חודשית תלוי בחומרת הפגיעה.
הועדה הרפואית בביטוח לאומי קובעת את אחוזי הנכות, במקרה של פגיעה בעבודה, בהתאם למצבו הרפואי של המבוטח וזאת לאחר תקופה מסוימת של שיקום מעת הפגיעה.
מענק חד פעמי – מתקבל במידה והוועדה קבעה בין 10%-19%- כלומר המצב הרפואי קל עד בינוני.
קצבה חודשית – מתקבלת במידה והוועדה קבעה 20% ומעלה- כלומר המצב הרפואי קשה עד חמור.
